Channeling-Contessa-1

Welcome to Channeling Contessa! My name is Clara and I’m so glad you’re here. Back in January of 2011, I decided to start a food blog inspired by my favorite chef, Ina Garten, as a way to stay creative outside of my day job. Fast forward over two years later and Channeling Contessa has grown into something more than I could have ever imagined, and changed my life in ways I never thought possible.

Though we do still love Ina dearly, the term ‘Contessa’ has taken on a much broader meaning around here. We believe it to be someone who exhibits a classic and thoughtful way of living, eating, cooking, and entertaining. So what will you find here? Classic recipes done really well, simple entertaining tips, guidance on food photography and styling, and everything in between when it comes to eating, cooking, and entertaining. Beyond that I share insights and lessons learned from running my own business, as well as snippets of my life outside the kitchen- whether that be how-tos on organizing your home, a beauty routine, or simply ways to make life more enjoyable. Interested in getting in on all of that? Subscribe and receive email updates on our homepage!

And of course, if there’s ever anything you want to hear about- let me know! I absolutely love hearing from my readers. You can contact me at  clara@clarapersis.com. Cheers!
